AKOP_thorenders

Today we’ve got an unintended double feature for you all – Thor: The Dark World and Ender’s Game! Brent Peckham is back once again to talk about both films, one after the other, as well as touch on the preview of the new Captain America. We discuss the Marvel Cinematic Universe, love triangles, the Orson Scott Card controversy, and adapting from original material. We also pick up on the weird similarities between the films and other things in pop culture, and ponder on whether libraries still exist. The enemy’s gate is down, so head on over and check out the episode!

Iron Man 3

iron-man-3-official-hd2

Like pop culture? Got some spare time? Well, we’ve got All Kinds of Philler for you! On the first official episode, Earl goes to a screening of Iron Man 3 with guest co-host Andrew and share their initial thoughts about the film, as well as the rest of the Marvel franchise. They also end up talking about Shane Black’s movie career, the Hulk rollercoaster, why all the new movie trailers have to include cities being obliterated, the power of IMDB, and so much more. Spoilers abound for all three Iron Man movies, a bit of The Avengers, and Moon.

(Unfortunately, we had some technical issues during recording, so the audio has some crackling at parts. We’ll have that solved for future episodes.)
